Vanarama Conference South club Whitehawk have signed striker Femi Orenuga.

The 21-year-old started his career with Southend United and he became the youngest player to appear for the Seasiders when he came on as a substitute in their 3–1 victory over Luton Town in the FA Cup Second Round in 2008.

He made a move to Everton for a five-figure fee in July 2009 but failed to make the breakthrough at Goodison Park, although he did make his League debut for Notts County during a loan spell at Meadow Lane in October 2011.

In November 2012 Orenuga moved over to Sweden to join AFC United.

Following an unsuccessful trial with Crewe Alexandra earlier this summer, Orenuga played for Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South side Carlton Town in pre-season as well as Dagenham & Redbridge before signing for the Hawks.
