ChromaSport & Trophies United Counties League Premier Division club Spalding United have snapped up talented….

….midfielder Claudio Hoban from Blue Square Bet North crisis outfit Histon.

Tulips manager Pat Rayment swooped for the pacey left winger on the advice of former Stutes` boss Dennis Greene, who departed the cash-strapped Cambridgeshire club on Thursday.

Hoban impressed Histon in pre-season with his pace and trickery on either wing enough to persuade the management staff to award him a contract.

Previously with Kettering Town and Leicester City, the young midfielder spent last season at Daventry Town.
