Just One Survives in Hellenic League

The only match played in the Premier Division and in fact the entire Uhlsport Hellenic League on Saturday was the….

…match played at Palmer Park, Reading in front of thirty-four hardy souls where Highmoor Ibis met Highworth Town.

Highmoor Ibis won 2-0 with a goal in each half of the match. Callum Gallimore opened the scoring on the quarter-hour mark with Steven Peacock adding a second for Highmoor 11 minutes into the second half.

The result moves Highmoor Ibis into mid-table, while Highworth remain in the drop zone, fourth-from-bottom but with three games in hand and only three points worse off than the team just above them, Reading Town.
