Scott Kerr has left Vanerama Conference North club Bradford Park Avenue to join league rivals Hyde FC on a month`s loan.
The experienced midfielder was seen as a major signing for Park Avenue when he arrived in June 2014 following his release by Conference Premier side Grimsby Town.
A career which began at Bradford City has seen him go on to play for Hull City, Scarborough Athletic and Lincoln City before joining the Mariners in 2013.
Earlier in his career he gained international recognition by turning out nine times for the England `C` side.
After failing to establish a regular starting position for Avenue this season, Kerr begins a loan spell with Hyde FC with a view to getting additional ‘game time’ to help maintain his match fitness.
Park Avenue`s assistant-manager Martin Drury said: “Since arriving at Park Avenue, Scott has always worked exceptionally hard and been very professional but he’s like any ambitious footballer, he wants and needs to be playing regular football.
“I believe Scott will do well at Hyde and hopefully he will get the minutes he needs to get himself 100% match sharp. He’s a great guy and were looking forward to him returning to us stronger and fitter.”
