Mickey Lewis, manager of Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division new boys Hayes & Yeading United, brought in now fewer than four new faces in time for the 1-1 draw at Basingstoke Town on Tuesday.

Returning to United were left-back Adam Green and midfielder Harry Grant, while newcomers Keir Dickson and Ernest Okoh also joined the squad.

Green is an experienced 32-year-old left-back who re-joins Hayes & Yeading having been with United in the National League, joining from Woking in the summer of 2009 before departing to Dartford in May 2011.

He started out at Fulham, making his debut against Wigan in September 2003 and going on to make thirteen Premier League appearances plus having loan spells with Sheffield Wednesday, AFC Bournemouth and Bristol City.

He left the Cottagers in May 2006 at the end of his contract and moved into non-League football with Grays Athletic.

From Grays he switched to Woking before coming to United the first time.

He moved on to Dartford, Basingstoke Town and then back to Dartford before spending last season with Leatherhead in the Ryman League Premier Division.

Grant is a 22-year-old midfielder who first arrived at Hayes & Yeading in the summer of 2015 after ending the previous season with Farnborough.

He started out at Reading before captaining the Swindon Town youth team which led to him being signed on a two-year contract by Sheffield Wednesday.

After a single first-team appearance for the Owls, he was loaned to Gillingham in March 2013 and made his debut for the Gills in April in what was to be a title winning season.

He spent 2013/14 on loan at Maidenhead United before joining Bromley in the summer of 2014.

Having started eight games for the Kent side, Grant moved to Farnborough on a season-long loan deal.

He returned to United on dual registration from new National League South side Hungerford Town, whom he had joined from Chippenham Town.

Dickson is a 19-year-old full-back or midfielder who made a goalscoring debut in a 1-1 draw at Basingstoke.

He came through the youth system at Barnet before moving north, signing for Fleetwood Town in February 2016.

Since his release from Fleetwood, he had been trialling with National League newcomers Dagenham & Redbridge prior to signing for United.

Okoh is a pacey 18-year-old defender who joined Hayes & Yeading in August 2016 from Ryman Division One North side Waltham Abbey.

He began as a youngster with Arsenal before moving into the youth ranks as a scholar at West Bromwich Albion in 2014.
