As with most leagues around the country this week, the Uhlsport Hellenic League was hit badly by the wet weather.

The only Premier Division game of the week saw Ascot United record a comprehensive 4-1 win over Flackwell Heath.

Lee Boon and Ben Knight both scored twice for Ascotwith Adam Harman replying for the Heathens.

There were two scheduled second round matches on Tuesday evening in the Bluefin Sports Supplementary Challenge Cup.

Holyport faced Chinnor and the match was evenly poised at 1-1 with Holyport’s Lee Jerrum opening the scoring and Adam Stallwood equalising late in the second half. With a minute to go, Jack Harding popped up with the winner for Holyport.

The evening’s other tie saw Premier Division strugglers Shrivenham host North Leigh Reserves from Division One West.

North Leigh ran out comfortable 4-1 winners aided by Shrivenham’s propensity to put the ball in their own net.

North Leigh were gifted two own goals and Declan Sheppard scored twice. Taylor Gill notched Shrivenham’s solitary reply.

In the third round of the AM Print & Copy Floodlight Cup competition, Maidenhead United Reserves beat Thatcham Town Reserves 2-0 with goals scored at either end of the match,

Kelvin Bossman opened the scoring in the first minute with Paul Semakula adding the second in the 89th minute.

Extra-time was required to resolve the Oxfordshire Senior Cup third round tie between Thame United and Ardley United, with Thame scoring the only goal of the match to move into the Quarter finals.

In the Wycombe Senior Cup played at Henley, Chalfont Wasps beat Henley Town 3-2 to move into the next round.
