The experienced Gary Mills has returned to Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division club King`s Lynn Town as coach to assist manager Gary Setchell and his assistant Neil Fryatt.

Mills is a UEFA B qualified coach who originally signed for the club back in 2014 on loan from Boston United and will return to club with a vast of experience and honours, having won Football League titles, Conference titles and the FA Trophy.

Recently he has had a spell at Wrexham as assistant-manager where they reached the Trophy final at Wembley. Last season he had brief spell as manager of Rugby Town.

King’s Lynn manager Gary Setchell said: “It`s fantastic to bring in someone to the staff who holds a UEFA B qualification and plenty of experience of playing at a high level. Gary will also sign on as a player and will be used when needed.”

Leaving the club is fans` favourite David Bridges, who joined the club back in 2014.

He will be retiring from playing to concentrate on his successful business ventures and spend time with his family

Bridges began his career with local side Cambridge United whom he joined at the age of 8.

He progressed through the club’s youth system before signing his first professional contract in February 2002.

Setchell would like to put on record and thank David for all his efforts for the club and wish him all the best for the future: “David will be missed by a lot of people at the football club but I totally understand his decision to call it a day on his fantastic playing career and pursue his business interests and spend more time with his young family”.
