Mat Mitchel-King has left Vanarama Conference club Dartford by mutual consent.
Mitchel-King joined the Darts in August 2013 from AFC Wimbledon.
He started out with Cambridge City and Mildenhall Town but came to the fore with Histon, where he enjoyed a successful four-year spell.
That earned him a move to Crewe Alexandra in the summer of 2009 and he went on to play forty-six times for them before transferring to the Dons in June 2011 just after they had won promotion from the Conference.
Manager Tony Burman said: “Mat was out of contract and had some longer-term work commitments and will be joining another club in due course nearer to his place of work and home.
“I would like to say that I am really sorry to see Mat go as I have enjoyed having him around and working with him. I would like to wish him all the very best for the future.”
