Forward Jake Orrell has joined Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division club Spennymoor Town on a one-month loan deal from Sky Bet League Two side Hartlepool United.

The 19-year-old joined Pools during the summer following his release from Chesterfield but has been limited to just three senior appearances during his maiden campaign.

Recently-appointed Hartlepool boss Dave Jones has been keen for some of his fringe players to go out on loan to get game time and Orrell will now spend the next month with The Brewers.

The Sunderland academy graduate, who is no stranger to non-League football after spells with Gateshead and on loan with Matlock Town, will link-up with his new team-mates in time to feature in their game against Buxton at The Brewery Field tomorrow.
