Vanarama National League South promotion-chasers Whitehawk have announced the signing of striker Junior Morias from National League side Boreham Wood on an initial ninety-three-day loan.
Morais, 20, scored the winning goal in last season’s National League South (then Conference) play-off final for Boreham Wood, sealing a 2-1 win after extra-time against the Hawks, sending The Wood up to the top tier of non-League football for the first time in their history.
He will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s home game against fellow play-off chasers Oxford City.
Although the loan is initially for 93 days, Boreham Wood can recall Junior with 24 hours` notice after the first 28 days of the loan have elapsed.
The loan also has the option of being extended.
