Hayes & Yeading United have signed goalkeeper Jamie Young from Skrill South rivals Whitehawk.
Young, 28, had a short spell with another Conference South rival Basingstoke Town after being released by Conference Premier side Aldershot Town, for whom he made 123 appearances in a three-year stay at the Rec in the summer.
Australian-born, he played for Albany Creek `down under` before coming over to England to try his luck with Reading in 2002.
He played just once in the Royals` senior side, but did have a twenty-game spell in League Two with the sadly now defunct Rushden & Diamonds.
He returned to Reading only to be released at the end of the 2005/06 season and signed for Wycombe, for whom he appeared thirty-nine times before moving onto Aldershot in March 2010.
Although Aussie-born, Young represented England at under-18, 19 and under-20 level.
