Vanarama National League club Braintree Town have signed a new goalkeeper and striker.
Joining after a brief spell with Ryman League Premier Division side Bognor Regis Town is keeper Dan Lincoln.
A confident and agile goalkeeper who had been at Reading Academy since 2003, Lincoln spent time out on loan with Oxford United, Nuneaton Town, Farnborough and the Rocks` league rivals Metropolitan Police and Harrow Borough.
He was released by the Royals and had spells with Hungerford Town, Hayes & Yeading United and Basingstoke Town.
Also joining the Iron on a month`s loan from Sky Bet Championship side Ipswich own is striker Monty Patterson.
Patterson signed a professional contract with the Tractor Boys in July.
The 19-year-old penned a one-year deal at Portman Road, with the option of a further twelve-month stay.
New Zealander Patterson left Auckland club Eastern Suburbs to move to England in 2013.
He has played seven times for the full All Whites side and last played in the final of the Oceania Football Confederations Nations Cup, as New Zealand defeated Papua New Guinea on a penalty shoot-out to claim the title in Port Moresby.
He appeared at the under-20s World Cup held in New Zealand last year, as well as playing for the under-23s in the Olympic qualifying tournament.
