Sky Bet League Two outfit Hartlepool United have cut short Michael Rae`s trial with them so that he can join Ebac….
….Northern League First Division club Celtic Nation.
Rae spent a week on trial with his former club and was set to spend another fortnight with the club.
However, the 26-year-old has now penned a deal with Celtic Nation.
Spennymoor Town boss Jason Ainsley recommended Rae to Pools and he trained and played in a reserve team game.
But the forward player, who re-joined Moors after a season with West Auckland Town where he played in the 2012 FA Vase Final, has decided to remain part-time and in the Northern League with the ambitious Cumbrians, who are managed by former Hartlepool boss Mick Wadsworth.
Apart from Hartlepool, Rae has also seen service with Southport, Gateshead and Whitby Town and also impressed at the World Student Games for Team GB earlier this summer.
Wadsworth has also taken 18-year-old Oldham Athletic defender Joe Cooper on a month`s loan.
