North Leigh Bring in Two

North Leigh, who are chasing a play-off place in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One South & West, have…

…strengthened their squad by taking on young Oxford United defender Henry Owen, and Damian Crudup, a left-back released by Reading at the end of last season.

Crudup is a former Reading scholar who was training with Blue Square Bet Premier side Bath City after being registered with Oxford City in pre-season.

More recently he has been with Southern Premier side Cirencester Town.

Owen, who has had experience of the Southern League before during a loan spell with Banbury United, and Crudup are both in the squad for tomorrow’s trip to Cinderford Town.
