Manager Allan Gough was sacked by Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division strugglers Cinderford Town on Thursday night – two days after joint boss Chris Burns resigned.
Gough was set to be in charge for tomorrow’s home match against Chesham United, along with youth team boss Brian Burke.
Burke will now lead the team, assisted by head of youth Rich Wilkins.
Burns and Gough were appointed in June following the departure of John Brough to North Leigh.
Brough had led the Foresters to the Southern Division One South & West title last season.
He then left along with almost his entire team as Cinderford initially rejected promotion to the Premier Division.
They were eventually forced to accept the step up after an appeal by Evesham United against movement to the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League.
Cinderford won two of their early fixtures, but have now lost five in a row and have been cast adrift at the foot of the table.
Gough is a former Cinderford player and sports therapist.
