Leon McSweeney and Ben Hutchinson have left Vanarama Conference club Nuneaton Town having both agreed mutual….

….terminations on their contracts.

Irish right-back McSweeney joined Boro in September having played last season for Northampton Town.

McSweeney has also played for Stockport County, Hartlepool United, Leyton Orient and Carlisle United.

Hutchinson, 25, signed a month earlier after being released by Mansfield at the end of last season.

Born in Nottingham, his sparkling performances for Arnold Town in the FA Youth Cup earned him a move to Middlesbrough in 2005, where he made eight first-team appearances.

Glasgow Celtic came calling in 2008 and he would play five times for the Scottish club, but spent most of his time out on loan at Swindon Town, Dundee and Lincoln City.

A further move to Kilmarnock followed before joining Mansfield in 2012.

Manager Liam Daish is currently looking to bring in new players as soon as possible.
