Ormsby Goes at Colls

Brendon Ormsby’s twenty-two month tenure as manager of Baris Northern Counties East League Division One club….

….Pontefract Collieries has ended by mutual consent.

The former Aston Villa player and Leeds United captain, who took over the reins at the Colls in February 2011, ends his reign standing in eighth place in the table.

Ormsby’s former assistant-managers, Duncan Bray and Nick Handley, have taken over the management of the team with immediate effect.

The appointment has been made on an interim basis, with a view to a permanent move.

The club have thanked Ormsby for his efforts during his time at the club and wished him every success for the future.
