Brian Page, manager of Southern League Premier Division new boys Histon, has confirmed three more signings ahead of Saturday’s opener against Frome Town.
Joe Peacock, Joe Burgess and Mateusz Kuzimski have all put pen-to-paper and the manager was pleased to add the three to his squad: “All three have done very well in pre-season,” Page said. “Mateusz has scored goals, Joe Peacock has looked strong going forward and Joe Burgess is a quality defender who can play in midfield as well. They all add to the squad and I’m pleased we have been able to get them all signed.”
Nineteen-year-old Peacock was with Norwich City as a youngster and briefly joined the Stutes at the end of the 2012/13 season before moving on to play for home-town club Willingham Wolves last year.
Polish striker Kuzimski spent time with neighbours Cambridge City last season and ASPN Miedź Legnica in his homeland, whilst 18-year-old Burgess was with Peterborough United before his release from London Road in the summer.
