Postlethwaite Quits Belper United

The Committee at East Midlands Counties League club Belper United have reluctantly accepted the resignation of manager Paul Postlethwaite.

Poslethwaite has been manager for over two seasons and took the club into the East Midlands Counties League this season following promotion from the Central Midlands League.

He was a popular player before retiring to became assistant-manager and then taking on the full role.

Although a Belper-based club, the first-team play its football at Borrowash Victoria`s ground in Spondon, Derby, on a groundshare agreement.

The club is seeking applications for a new manager to embrace and consolidate previous successes and to elevate the club. The position would first and foremost be to manage the first-team but be instrumental in player development with the club.

The club also has a reserve, under-21 and two junior teams.
