Coalville Town have announced the signing of striker Nialle Rodney from Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South rivals Spalding United.
Rodney has an abundance of Football League experience, having represented Nottingham Forest, Bradford City, Hartlepool United and Mansfield Town in the professional ranks and has also played for a number of clubs in the Vanarama National League.
Having taken some time out of playing he signed for Spalding earlier in the season and scored against Coalville in the Tulips` FA Cup win.
Manager Tommy Brookbanks said: “When we heard Nialle was available we moved quickly to secure his services. We now have four players in our squad who are all capable of getting 20 goals.”
Leaving Owen Street, however, is midfielder Joe Hopewell, who has joined another league rival, Gresley FC.
The former Rushden & Diamonds defender joined the Ravens just before the transfer deadline last season and played in the Westerby Cup final.
This season he has found his opportunities limited and he has been playing on dual registration terms at Dunkirk in the Midland League Premier Division.
