Vanarama Conference club Nuneaton Town have signed young midfielder Josh Rees on loan from Sky Bet Championship side Nottingham Forest until the end of the season.
The energetic Rees was given his first-team debut by Gary Brazil against Brighton and Hove Albion on the final day of the 2013/14 season, coming on as a 76th minute substitute.
He had joined Forest’s youth team from Arsenal and, whilst on the Gunners` books, he had a spell on loan with Brentford without making a senior appearance.
He has represented England at both under-16 and under-17 international level.
Meanwhile, Nuneaton had released defender or midfielder Ben Starosta.
The former Sheffield United, Darlington and Poland under-20 international made a dozen appearances for Boro after arriving at Liberty Way last May.
