Blue Square Bet North club Gainsborough Trinity have signed former Stafford Rangers favourite Levi Reid from Conference Premier….

…side AFC Telford United.

Reid signed for Telford towards the end of the 2010/11 season after leaving Rangers.

He started his career with Port Vale where he rose through the youth ranks but, following his release by Vale in 2005, he signed for Stafford.

He has also subsequently had spells with Macclesfield Town and Oxford United before rejoining Stafford in 2009.

After Telford won the Conference North play-offs, Reid, who had failed to make a first-team appearance, was invited back to the club in the summer to try to prove himself worthy of a new deal.

In September he was loaned out to Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Chasetown.
