With immediate effect, Neville Roach will no longer occupy the assistant-manager`s role at Southern League Division One Central club Marlow.

A former Reading, Southend United and Torquay United pro, Roach went on to have a long spell in non-League football with a variety of teams, including Basingstoke Town and Maidenhead United.

In July 2008, Roach joined Didcot Town and two years later a knee ligament injury forced him to stop playing and so he moved into management, taking over at Combined Counties League outfit Hartley Wintney in May 2010.

Exactly two years later he became a part of the coaching set-up at Hellenic League side Highmoor-Ibis, joining Marlow at the end of last season.
