Rocks Move for Warren

Central midfielder Freddie Warren has signed for East Thurrock United from Ryman League Premier Division rivals Canvey Island.

Warren joined Canvey in June 2014 having been released by then Conference National side Barnet.

Warren played for the Gulls on loan from the Bees during 2013/14, making thirteen appearances.

The 23-year-old began his career with Charlton Athletic, coming through the ranks to earn a professional contract in 2011.

After loan spells with the likes of Staines Town and Hayes & Yeading United he was subsequently signed by Barnet in July 2012.

He made his debut in the Football League Cup against Birmingham City at St Andrew’s alongside Edgar Davids, going on to make four more appearances before being released by new manager Martin Allen in 2014.
