Ryman League Premier Division club Bury Town have announced the signing of attacking midfielder Ryan Semple from…..

…..Calor League Southern Premier Division new boys Corby Town.

Semple started his career with Peterborough United and made such an impression that he was invited to join Manchester United on a two-week trial.

An unfortunate broken leg meant he spent a while out on loan to various clubs, including Boston United.

Bury`s director of football Trevor Collins said: “We tried to sign Ryan last summer but he had already committed to Corby Town where he scored fifteen times for the Steelmen in the Conference North last season. He is an exciting player who the fans will enjoy watching and we all welcome him on board.”

Bury have also announced that Jordan Patrick has put pen-to-paper on a new deal for the 2013/14 season and this is another massive boost for the Blues.

Patrick joined the club from Cambridge City last season and finished the season in great form.
