….Wednesday`s win over Whitby Town as manager Mark Shaw looks to strengthen his squad.
Shaw brought in experienced goalkeeper Jon Stewart, aged 24 and 31-year-old former Burnley centre-half Adam Quinn on a month`s loan from Skrill North side Bradford Park Avenue.
Shaw said: “These are two significant signings, just what we have been looking for. A tall, commanding goalkeeper and a no-nonsense, experienced centre-half who will organise the defence.”
Stewart started his career at Swindon Town before moving on to Weymouth, Portsmouth, AFC Bournemouth then Burnley. During his time at Burnley he had two loan spells at Alfreton Town.
Quinn started his career at Halifax Town where he spent six years before moving on to Darlington, Barrow AFC and Alfreton Town.
He joined Park Avenue at the start of the season from Alfreton.
