Tony Burman, manager of Conference Premier club Dartford, has announced the signing of 25-year-old, left-sided…..

…..defender Tyrone Sterling as another addition to the squad.

Sterling signed for Conference South side Dover Athletic in January 2013 from Ryman Premier side Cray Wanderers.

Sterling had been on trial with Dagenham & Redbridge after seven years at Cray before signing for the Whites.

He runs the Cray Wanderers Community Scheme that was founded in 2009 as part of the national `Football 4 Everyone` programme.

Able to play in defence and midfield, Sterling was Chris Kinnear’s first signing in the manager’s second stint in charge at Crabble.

Burman said: “I have been impressed with Tyrone’s desire and commitment to play at Dartford FC for the right reasons and to have the opportunity to play at a higher level.”
