…..striker Akanni-Sunday Wasiu.
Wasiu, 30, is Nigerian whose most recent club Was Maltese outfit Floriana.
He began his much-travelled career in Poland with Szczakowianka Jaworzno before moving to Lithuania to play for FC Vilnius in 2006.
He then decided to try his luck in England in 2007, signing for St Albans City. He impressed at Clarence Park, bagging 3 goals in a dozen appearances before trialling with Colchester United during the summer of 2008, where he earned himself a one-year deal.
A pacey and powerful striker, Wasiu joined Luton Town on a month’s loan from in mid-January 2009, and scored once in five games.
After the 2008/09 season, he was released by Colchester and joined Floriana in August 2009.
The powerful striker fast became a fans` favourite and they were disappointed when he was off on his travels again, this time to Chinese football with Changsha Ginde in 2010 and then Shenyang Dongjin.
He re-joined Floriana in 2012.
