Vanarama National League North club Tamworth have added to their options ahead of the start of the new season with the capture of teenage defender Curtis Strong.
The 19-year-old, who hails from Flint in Wales, is a product of the Wrexham Centre of Excellence where his progress caught the eye of Stoke City who took him into their Academy.
He has featured for the Potters at under-21 level as well as gaining various youth honours for his country.
Strong is an energetic and lively performer. We welcome him to The Lamb.
Terms have also been agreed with Owain Warlow and Luke Hubbins following successful pre-season trial spells.
Warlow impressed Andy Morrell in the 2015-16 pre-season enough to signing for The Lambs ahead of the new season. Previously with Merthyr Town he has also featured for Llanelli.
Hubbins began his career with Birmingham City and made his professional debut in August 2010 in the Carling Cup while on loan to Notts County.
He spent a brief spell on loan at The Lamb in 2012 in the then Conference National. He never played for Birmingham’s first-team, and was released at the end of the 2011/12 season, when he signed for AFC Telford United, Worcester City and after a short break from the game returned to football at Leamington.
