Vanarama Conference North club Gainsborough Trinity have announced that they have signed striker Danny Forrest until the end of the season.

The 30-year-old was released by Trinity`s league rivals Guiseley AFC earlier this week – ending his third spell with the Lions – in search of more regular first-team football.

The experienced Forrest made fifty appearances for Bradford City before going on to play more than 100 times for Halifax Town.

Spells with Crawley Town, Barrow AFC, Harrogate Town and Bradford Park Avenue were sandwiched between his stints at Nethermoor.
