Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division club Ashton United have welcomed three new additions to the squad.

Stephen Hall, a midfielder Ashton have been trying to re-sign for several weeks, has finally had his international clearance approved and has put pen-to-paper.

Twenty-five-year-old Hall’s last club was Brampton City United in Ontario Canada, and he was previously with Droylsden, who had signed him from Ashton in August 2011.

He original joined Ashton from then North West Counties Leaguers New Mills in November 2010.

The other two additions are `work experience` players who join Ashton from Rotherham United.

Twenty-year-old forward Ayrton Bevans is a local lad hailing originally from Glossop and he arrives together with 19-year-old Huddersfield-born defender Reece Lucas.
