Ryman League Division One North club Aveley have announced the signing of Alex Stavrinou and winger Luke Stanley.
Stavrinou re-joins the Millers after signing at the start of the season and impressed with his ball retention and range of passing.
He returned to league rivals Cray Wanderers in December.
He was player of the year with the Wands last season.
The former Charlton Athletic youth team player, who has been capped by Cyprus at under-17 level, has also been on the books at Ebbsfleet United.
Manager Justin Gardner was pleased to see him back for the Millers: “Alex first left because he was offered the sort of money he couldn’t turn down.
“But he got to the point where he wasn’t enjoying his football and he asked to return to a club like Aveley, where he can play with freedom and enjoy himself, and I’m pleased to be able to bring him back.”
The Millers also announced the signing of ex-Thurrock winger Luke Stanley.
Stanley has previously been with Romford and Waltham Forest.
Gardner added: “Luke is a very hard working player who will give it his all in matches. He’s been training with us for the last couple of weeks. He’s a good addition to the squad.”
Two outs for the Millers as Steve Carvell moves to local side Thurrock and also midfielder Charlie Gregory moves to Essex Senior Leaguers Waltham Forest on loan to get some game time.
