…..signed for Skrill South neighbours Sutton United.
A talented midfielder who was with Chelsea as a schoolboy, earning a professional contract in 2007 and making a number of reserve appearances, Sawyer had loan spells with Southend, Coventry and Wycombe Wanderers in the 2008/09 season before returning to Southend in July 2009.
That loan spell was cut short and he left Chelsea by mutual consent in November 2009, subsequently briefly joining Barnet in January 2010.
He signed for Woking on non-contract terms in November 2010 before re-joining Southend in January 2011, making over twenty appearances during the rest of the season before being released and re-joining the Cards in the summer of 2012.
He has caps at under-16, 18 and under-19 level for England.
He joined Dover Athletic on loan in November until January 1st 2014.
