Ryman League Premier Division strugglers Cray Wanderers has become the latest port of call for much-travelled striker Moses Ashikodi.
Ashikodi joins the Wands, scoring on his debut on Sunday in a 5-1 beating by Lewes, after a short spell with Skrill South side Farnborough, who he had joined from Wands` league rivals Margate in December.
Ashikodi, 26, had only joined Gate at the end of November from another Ryman Premier outfit, Enfield Town.
Born in Lagos, Ashikodi started his career in the Millwall youth system, and aged 15 years and 240 days, he became the youngest player to make a first-team appearance for Millwall in February 2003 following his debut at Brighton as a 73rd minute substitution.
This also made him the youngest player to make his Football League debut between 1988 and 2008.
Ashikodi went on to record another four substitute appearances for the Bermondsey club in the 2002/03 season.
He joined then Championship club West Ham United in August 2003 on a two-year contract after impressing during a trial.
He did not make a first-team appearance at Upton Park and joined League One side Gillingham in August 2005 on loan until December 2005. He made four substitute appearances for the Gills.
Ashikodi then moved north of the border to join Scottish Premier club Rangers in January 2006 after a successful trial period, signing a contract until the end of the 2005/06 season. He made his only appearance for the first-team as a late substitute away to Celtic in April 2006.
After impressing during a two-week trial, Ashikodi moved to Premier League side Watford in January 2007 for a nominal fee, signing a two-and-a-half-year contract.
He made his debut for Watford and played his first Premier League game against Aston Villa later that month.
His other clubs include Bradford City, Swindon Town, Hereford United, Shrewsbury Town, Kettering Town, Ebbsfleet United, York City and more recently Enfield Town.
Ashikodi has also played for England at youth level, making his debut for the under-16’s in a 3–1 victory over Belgium in a friendly in May 2002, scoring England’s second goal in the 29th minute.
He made his international debut for Antigua & Barbuda as an 81st minute substitute in a 3–1 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualification defeat to Guatemala in September 2012.
He made eight appearances for Margate, the last one being last Saturday against former club Enfield Town.
Also joining Cray is midfielder Osarleme Obamwonyi after a short stay with Ryman Division One North side Erith & Belvedere.
Obamwonyi, 22, numbers Cheshunt, Tooting & Mitcham United, Wingate & Finchley, Heybridge Swifts, Maidenhead United, Thurrock and Sutton United amongst his previous clubs.
