Worcester Go for Another Keeper

Skrill North club Worcester City have confirmed that the paperwork has been completed to sign goalkeeper Leigh Bedwell….

….on loan from Sky Bet League One side Swindon Town for the remainder of the season.

The 20-year-old came through the junior ranks at Swindon and earned his first professional contract in the summer of 2012.

He made his first-team debut in September 2012 at Preston North End when Paolo Di Canio decided when 2-0 down to replace starting custodian Wes Foderingham with the on the bench Bedwell.

Last September Bedwell joined Calor League Southern Premier Division side Banbury United on an initial month`s loan which was subsequently extended, and he made 13 appearances for the Puritans.
