Skrill North club Workington have taken defender D`Arcy O`Connor and striker Godwin Abadaki on loan from Sky Bet….

….League Two side Rochdale.

O’Connor has joined on a month’s loan from Rochdale, having recently returned from a three-month loan stint with Conference Premier bottom-markers Hyde FC.

The 19-year-old defender has joined the Reds until the end of the season.

O`Connor has appeared once for the Rochdale first-team when he made his professional debut in April 2013 in a 1–0 victory against Plymouth Argyle.

Abadaki is a young forward who graduated from Rochdale’s youth team to earn himself his first professional contract in the summer of 2011, signing a two-year deal at Spotland.

He made his senior debut when coming on as a substitute in a goalless draw at Tranmere in January 2012.

The 20-year-old spent much of last season out on loan with Hyde FC and then at Huddersfield Town’s Development Squad and had a temporary spell with Conference Premier side Southport and Workington`s league rivals Stalybridge Celtic earlier this season.
