Wright Continues Summer Signings

David Wright, manager of Ryman League Division One North club Maldon & Tiptree, has continued re-shaping his squad for the coming season.

Wright has signed forwards Hassan Nalbant and Femi Akinwande.

Nalbant was with Maidstone United as a youngster and subsequently had spells with Three Bridges and Kent Invicta Leaguers Lewisham Borough.

Akinwande came through the Dartford academy and made some first-team appearances in the Conference in 2013/14.

He also had a spell with Southern Counties East League side Fisher FC and then Ryman Premier outfit Leatherhead.

Also joining is ex-Stoke City midfielder Kieran Monlouis, who was released by Charlton Athletic at the end of last season.

Wide player Darren McQueen started his career with Tottenham Hotpur and then joined Ipswich Town, from where he was released at the end of last season.

Oliver Emsden, a 21-year-old midfielder has had spells at Cypriat outfit APEP Pitsilia, Scottish side Greenock Morton, Cambridge City and Burnham, while left-back Ben Wyatt has signed from Ipswich having joined the Tractorboys from fierce rivals Norwich City in May 2014.

Wright has also re-signed brothers Brad and Mitch Hunter from last season`s squad.
