FA Vase First And Second Qualifying Rounds Revealed

The first and second qualifying round draws for the Buildbase FA Vase has seen derbies and a number of interesting matches selected writes Tom Feaheny.

Over 600 clubs will enter the Buildbase FA Vase this season. A new winner of the competition guaranteed with South Shields no longer in the running due to their promotion.

The Vase is open for clubs sitting in Steps 5-7 of the National League System.

One of the games selected in the first qualifying round sees Pinchbeck United face Holbeach United these two local sides will be battling to progress to the next round.

There is also a potential derby between Diss Town and Framlingham Town in the second qualifying round. Framlingham having to beat Waltham Forest at home before it can happen.

Meanwhile ex Vanamara National League North side Worcester City will begin their time in the Buildbase FA Vase away. When they will visit either Boldmere St Michaels or Alvis Sporting Club.

Victory in the First round qualifying on Saturday 9 September will see the winning side gain £550, while receive

The Second round qualifying takes place on Saturday 27 September and winners receive £725 while losers get £250.
