New boss Lee Allinson’s reign at Evo-Stik League South Premier club Biggleswade Town is off to amazing start, with exciting news on his new management team for next season.

Langford Road will see joint/assistant-managers in the form of fans’ favourite Brett Donnelly and Eddie McLoughlin, who has joined from Bostik League North outfit Hertford Town.

McLoughlin will be heading up the coaching, whilst Donnelly will also be part of the playing squad.

Donnelly returns to the Waders from league rivals Hitchin Town.

He had three brief spells at Top Field between 2007 and 2009 before finding success with the Waders. He then re-joined Hitchin for the 2014/15 season.

In total he scored 52 goals for Hitchin in 198 appearances.

Allinson told the club`s Pitchero website: “It’s going to be a very exciting time to be a Wader as we bring back Brett who, as we all know, has a special place in his heart for the club, and with his winning mentality, drive and the fire he brings, we are sure he will not disappoint.

“Eddie, who is a UEFA B qualified coach, is exceptional in his field and brings a wealth of professional ambition to the line-up. He has amazing ambition and that’s exactly what we need to drive things forward”.
