Vanarama National League South club St Albans City have brought in 33-year-old midfielder Mario Noto on dual registration with Bostik League Premier neighbours Enfield Town.
Noto started out with Tottenham Hotspur before moving on to Reading and then to Canvey Island.
He subsequently had spells at Chelmsford City and Boreham Wood before joining Harlow Town in July 2015 after ending seven years at Meadow Park when the club decided to turn full-time.
Noto left Wood as player-coach as he has a full-time teaching job at a school in Highgate, having made 215 appearances for the club, scoring 38 goals.
He is added to the Saints squad for the run-in, having played under manager Ian Allinson at Boreham Wood.
