Alresford Town have announced several new arrivals for the 2018/19 Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier campaign.

Vastly experienced former Whitchurch United, Amesbury Town and Petersfield Town boss Jim Macey has come in to assist manager Richard Luffman along with Ryan Doswell.

Midfielder Liam Hibberd has also joined Alresford for the 2018/19 season as has defender Luke Dempsey, who returns to the club for a second spell, IK Hill from Winchester City and attacking midfielder Kieron Stephens from Amesbury Town.

Hibberd`s former clubs include Eastleigh, AFC Totton, Andover Town, where he was skipper, and Winchester City.

Dempsey`s travels have taken him to Winchester City, AFC Totton, Andover and Sholing.

Stephens scored 13 goals for Amesbury last season.

Stephens originally came through Amesbury`s youth team and made his first-team debut in March 2014.

He moved to Gosport Borough in the National League South but never featured for Boro`s first-team before signing for Moneyfields in October 2015.

He returned to Amesbury and established himself in the side as a key player.

Young 18-year-old midfielder or forward IK Hill gained experience in the Evo-Stik League South West with Winchester.

Hill was closely monitored by SkyBet League One side Portsmouth two seasons ago, but the youngster needs more game time than he has been getting with Winchester.
