Jimmy Ball has agreed to sign for SkyBet League Two club Stevenage FC for a five-figure fee from Vanarama National League North side Stockport County.
The 22-year-old midfielder arrives after a stellar season at Edgeley Park where he scored 11 goals on his way to helping lead his side to a play-off berth.
Ball, who joined Stockport from Northwich Victoria in September 2016, told Stevenage`s official website: “I am absolutely delighted.
“I look forward to getting started and trying to help the team achieve our goals.
“I want to be a big player for the club and I can’t wait to show the supporters what I am all about.”
