Brighouse Town, members of the Evo-Stik Northern Premier West next season, have completed their first new signing of the summer.
Town have secured the services of young full-back Lewis Riley from Vanarama National League North neighbours Harrogate Town.
Riley was on dual registration at the club during the 2017/18 season and has now joined Brighouse permanently.
Despite a shaky start, Riley has done enough with his form at the end of the season to impress Brighouse boss Vill Powell.
On joining the club, Riley told the club`s Pitchero website: “I think it’s a great club. All the people here the backroom staff and the people around the club are so welcoming and I’m happy to be playing here next year.
“I want to set my place in the side bringing a bit more consistency into my game and try and make the shirt mine. It was a big step up for me this year and I wasn’t expecting it to be such a high standard.”
Riley becomes the sixth player to commit to the club in what has been a busy week for Powell and his staff.
