Former Grimsby Town and North Ferriby United striker Tom Corner has returned to Ossett Albion on loan from Evo-Stik League North rivals Tadcaster Albion until the end of the season.
A player that manager Andy Welsh has been keeping an eye on all season, Corner has agreed terms and will report in for duties ahead of the weekend trip to Colne FC.
Tadcaster`s current leading goalscorer has been brought in to add fire power in the second half of the season which sees Albion with fourteen games left to play.
Welsh told his club`s official Pitchero website: “We are playing well and the team all know what is expected of them for the rest of the season, Tom is an experienced proven striker and having him in the squad adds to our frontline options. I am very keen to get him out there playing”.
