Eastleigh have announced that Ollie Dennett has signed a professional contract with the Vanarama National League club.
Dennett was part of the scholarship programme, graduating in the summer of 2017, before undertaking an apprenticeship scheme throughout the 2017/18 season.
As part of his apprenticeship, Dennett has trained with the first-team squad, impressing the management team with his ability, skill and attitude, which has led to a number of appearances on the bench.
Manager Andy Hessenthaler is delighted to have Dennett onboard for next season, telling the club`s official website: “It’s fantastic to see Ollie sign his first professional contract.
“He’s done a superb job during training, and he’s thoroughly impressed myself and Ben Strevens and is totally deserving of his contract.
“I also have to give credit to the academy team, they’ve done a brilliant job nurturing Ollie and we know hope he fulfils his potential.”
Dennett will be part of the squad for today’s final fixture at Solihull Moors.
