Evo-Stik League North club Hyde United have announced that forward Tom Pratt has signed a new contract.
The contract is a reward for the outstanding level of consistency shown by Pratt since joining the Tigers.
Manager Darren Kelly was delighted to get the contract agreed, telling the club`s official Pitchero website: “Tom has been a fantastic signing for Hyde. He is a great team player, liked by everyone in the squad, and willing to run through brick walls to get results. He has an unbelievable engine, and consistently comes top of the distance stats for training and games. He is all action, working hard with and without the ball which is one of the reasons we have conceded so few goals this season. Tom has also contributed with 8 league goals this season and eleven in all competitions, (averaging a goal every two games), which is very impressive for a player who has spent most of the season out wide or in the No10 role.
“He is a fantastic role model for our players in the academy who can see a local lad, playing and achieving at a high level, with his unquestioned natural ability alongside a fantastic work ethic”.
