Evo-Stik League Premier club Barwell have confirm two new signings in Jake Warmington and Mitchell Piggon.
Barwell manager Jimmy Ginnelly has been working hard over the Christmas period to add two new players to his “threadbare squad”.
Seventeen-year-old Warmington joins from Midland League Premier Division side Rugby Town.
Warmington, a left-footed midfielder, spent several years at Aston Villa before being released at the age of 16.
Ginnelly has been impressed by the young man for some time, regularly monitoring his progress.
Meanwhile, striker Piggon, 27, signs for the Canaries from another Midland League Premier outfit, Coventry United.
Piggon brings a wealth of local non-League experience to the side, with his list of previous clubs include Coalville Town, Bedworth United, Nuneaton Griff and Chasetown.
Ginnelly’s men are next in action tomorrow, when they travel to Witton Albion and will be looking to build on their impressive Boxing Day display at Coalville.
