Evo-Stik League Premier club Stourbridge have bolstered their defensive ranks with the signing of centre-back Aaron Hayden on loan from SkyBet Championship leaders Wolverhampton Wanderers.
His initial loan period runs until 17th March.
Hayden is a Croydon-born 21-year-old centre-back who was originally at Chelsea’s academy before becoming a scholar at Wolves when aged 16 and later signing professional terms in March 2015.
He enjoyed a loan spell at Newport County in League Two at the start of the 2015/16 campaign, making his League debut against Cambridge United on the opening day of the season.
In 2016/17 he had a loan stint with Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town during the first half of the season and then in January 2017 stepped up a level to join Bromley on loan but had to return to Wolves soon afterwards after picking up an injury in a behind closed doors friendly without making a competitive appearance for the National League outfit.
He joined National League North side AFC Telford United on loan at the start of the current season before returning to Wolves last month.
With Jack Duggan currently struggling with injury, Hayden will strengthen the Glassboys available options at the back.
