Jordan Holt is making a swift return to Evo-Stik League Premier club Workington AFC and, subject to the paperwork being completed in time, will go straight into the squad for the long trip to Weston-super-Mare in the Buildbase FA Trophy tomorrow.
The teenage Carlisle United midfielder spent a successful three-month loan with Reds from the end of August, making twenty-two appearances and scoring 2 goals – his first in senior football.
He made an immediate impression and was a prominent figure in the side until returning to Brunton Park towards the end of November.
Holt will be eligible to play in all of Reds remaining fixtures with the exception of the Cumberland Cup.
Holt made his Carlisle debut last season, having come through the ranks at Brunton Park, earning a one-year professional development contract last May.
