Ins & Outs At St Ives….

With goalkeeper James Goff being recalled by his club, SkyBet League One Northampton Town, following a two-month loan spell, Evo-Stik League South Premier club St Ives Town have welcomed back Tim Trebes.

Trebes left the club earlier this month to join ChromaSport & Trophies Untied Counties League Premier Division side Eynesbury Rovers following the birth of his second child.

The experienced stopper has since shown a desire to return to Westwood Road prompting the manager to act quickly in bringing him back.

However, striker James Hall has moved back to Evo-Stik League South East promotion-chasers Cambridge City.

Hall re-joined St Ives earlier this season for the second time in three seasons following his departure at the end of the 2014/15 season due to work commitments.

Since his departure, he has had very successful spells at Godmanchester Rovers, Cambridge City, St Neots Town and Kettering Town.

He is a proven Step 3 goalscorer and last season his pace, power and willingness to stretch defences, resulted in him scoring 23 goals in the Southern Premier.

The second arrival and moving in the opposite direction from Cambridge City is Ollie Snaith.

The young attacking midfielder, who was previously with Needham Market and Newmarket Town, has been a long-term target for manager Ricky Marheineke, who is delighted to finally have him on board.
